Teen electrocuted while working on unplugged computer

A note from LCS on this story...

We always recommend using caution whenever working on any electronic component, ensuring it has been completely unplugged.  Something as simple as a computer power supply can carry a deadly charge even after it has been unplugged.  It is important to keep in mind that computer power supplies contain no serviceable parts.  This means that if your power supply goes out then the only course of action you should take is replacing it with a new power supply and discarding the defective one. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE POWER SUPPLY.
